Privacy Policy

1. Summary
Vooxyou does not sell personal data, does not build user profiles, and does not ask anyone to register. Most of our tools run entirely in your browser, so whatever you type into them never leaves your device.
We do run ads on this site, and the ad network uses cookies to count impressions. Section 5 covers what that involves.
2. What We Collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other contact details. What reaches us is technical data that cannot be read as a person:
- Browser type, operating system, and screen size.
- Which pages get opened, where the visit came from, and how long it lasted.
- A rough country derived from your IP address, rather than your precise location.
- Data our host records automatically, including your IP address, in the request log.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
To remember your own choices, we use two things. Both are first-party, live in your browser, and send nothing to our servers:
- A vooxyou-topbar-theme cookie that stores your light or dark theme choice, valid for one year.
- Local storage (localStorage) for a few tools such as the CV builder, so your entries survive a page reload.
- Local storage (localStorage) that stores your cookie choice under the vooxyou-consent key. It only records that you have chosen, and when.
- Your language is not stored at all. The locale comes from the URL, so /id/ and /en/ links can be shared exactly as they are.
Before Google Analytics or any advertising code loads, we show a cookie banner and hold both back until you choose. Declining means no ads and no analytics are loaded at all.
You can change your cookie choice at any time:
4. Analytics
This site uses two analytics services to learn which pages are useful and which are not.
Vercel Analytics records request counts per page in aggregate form. Google Analytics 4 records which pages are viewed, where the visitor came from, and a few other technical details such as device type and the country derived from the IP address.
Both are third-party services and receive data directly from your browser, not through our servers.
We run no A/B tests, and we do not use analytics data to decide which ads you see.
- Google Analytics 4 sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which store a random client identifier rather than identifying a person. They last for two years.
- Vercel Analytics sets no cookie that JavaScript can read, and builds no user profile.
- You can opt out per site through your browser settings, or with an ad and tracker blocker. Either one makes the numbers in our analytics reports incomplete.
5. Ads and Advertising Cookies
Vooxyou shows ads to cover server costs and pay for the writing. Ads never cover a tool, and never sit on top of article text.
The ad network in use: Adsterra.
Adsterra loads code and sets cookies belonging to that network, not to us. The network can read your IP address, browser type, and the page you are viewing.
Ad networks can build a profile of your interests from the pages you read here and elsewhere, then serve ads they think will appeal. We do not control that data and never receive it.

6. Tools and Your Files
Almost every Vooxyou tool processes your input in the browser: text conversion, calculators, document formatting, image processing. Text you type and files you pick are not uploaded to our servers, and they are not kept after you close the tab.
The exceptions are tools built to download or convert files, and those also run on your device using temporary browser storage.
7. Data Retention
Because we keep no personal data, there are no accounts to delete and nothing to retain. The only data that touches a server is the technical request log, which our host rotates automatically.
8. Policy Changes
This policy can change at any time. Substantial edits will show up in the date at the top of this page, so check back occasionally if the details matter to you.
